Safety precautions for PNG
Do’s
Open all doors and windows before turning on the gas stove.
Close the main control valve and call emergency helpline if leakage is suspected.
Inform IOAGPL if digging/construction is happening near gas line.
Always close your gas tap before going to bed.
Use only approved rubber tubes and ISI mark stoves.
Keep children away from the gas stove.
Check rubber tube regularly for any damage.
Don’ts
Do not ignite match or lighter if you smell gas.
Do not operate electrical switches during leakage.
Do not allow digging near gas pipeline.
Never tamper with gas connection.
Do not install gas geyser in bathroom.
Do not store flammable items in the kitchen.
CNG Filling Station – Do’s & Don’ts
What You Should Do What You Should Not Do
Get the CNG cylinder checked every three years. Do not modify CNG system components.
Keep all CNG kit documents in vehicle. Cylinder should never be repaired.
Reach dispenser at slow speed. Never install LPG cylinder in place of CNG.
Stop vehicle at correct position. Avoid carrying inflammable material.
Switch OFF engine while filling fuel. Do not fill any gas other than CNG.
Apply handbrake during refueling. Do not place luggage over cylinder.
Avoid using mobile phone at station. Do not use oil on cylinder valves.
